When four friends from Terenure decided to form a band when they were just fifteen, KIROS was born. With a mix of Beatle-esque harmonies and catchy Indie originals they soon had a small following around Dublin playing venues like The Clifton Court Hotel, Slattery's and Temple Bar. The lads were tipped as 'one to watch'.

Three years and a change of line-up later CORONA have emergered as an exciting 3-piece with time on their side. An emphasis on song-writing and an original acoustic sound has left the band with an ever-growing following around the Dublin college scene.

The lads have been together officially as a gigging 3-piece since Semptember '03 but numerous gigs in The Voodoo Lounge, the Boom Boom Room, The Village, Whelans, UCD and a slot at this years Hard Working Class Heroes (featuring turn and Paddy Casey) has kept the band on their toes.

Their live CD - "Live in the Voodoo Lounge" quickly spread around colleges in 04 so the band got their gear and headed down to wicklow in june05 for a week and their self titled debut EP was the result.

The future looks bright for this promising young band.
